Belfast has two airports - Belfast International and Belfast City.  Details of the airlines currently using each and the routes available are shown below.  There are connections to many UK regional airports and most flights take about an hour.

As an alternative you may wish to use Dublin airport as this offers more direct international flights.  There is an inexpensive bus connection to Dublin airport and the journey time is about 2 hours.

Belfast International Airport  (BFS) is approximately 50 minutes from Belfast City Centre  http://www.bial.co.uk 

Belfast International Airport has links to many main regional UK airports as well as London Airports for connections with international flights.  Details of scheduled flights are shown below for guidance only and you should check with your travel agent for details.

Connections to Belfast city centre are by bus or taxi.  A taxi will take you directly to your destination and will cost approximately £23.

The bus from the International Airport will cost approximately £6 single or £9 return.  
You will require Service 300 Goldline Express and your destination will be either 
Laganside Bus Centre for the Waterfront Hall; Hilton Hotel; OR
Europa Bus/Rail Centre for the Europa Hotel, Holiday Inn, Jurys Inn. 

The service departs approximately every 10 minutes between 07.10 and 22.50

Belfast City Airport (BHD) is also known as George Best Belfast City Airport.  It is approximately 10-15 minutes by taxi from the centre of the city.

Dublin Airport:
Depending on where you are travelling from, you may wish to consider using Dublin Airport as an option http://www.dublinairport.com  
There are very many scheduled flights to Dublin and it is a 2 hour bus journey to Belfast city centre (Europa Bus Centre).  The cost of the bus is approximately £10.  Details can be found here http://www.aircoach.ie/table.routes.belfast.php

Arriving By Train
There are many train services from the Republic of Ireland to Belfast and again, your destination should be Central Station for the Waterfront Hall / Hilton Hotel or Great Victoria Street Station for the Europa Hotel, Jurys Inn and Holiday Inn.  Please note there is no rail link from Dublin Airport

 Arriving by Sea:
There are ferry services from Troon and Stranraer in Scotland and Liverpool and Heysham in England.  There is also a service from Holyhead in Wales to Dublin in the Republic of Ireland.

Taxi Numbers 
There are many local and reputable taxi firms.  Your hotel or accommodation provider will be able to give you contact numbers.  One of the larger taxi firms is Value Cabs which can be contacted by telephoning 028 9080 9080.  These taxis have a meter which indicates the fare or amount due.
